Lozen

This picturesque monastery has history dating all the way back to the 13th century, and has seen centuries of political and cultural shifts take place. Destroyed at the end of the 14th century during the Ottoman conquest of Sofia, it was abandoned for more than 200 years before being rebuilt during the 1600s.
