Learn to make Italian dishes under the guidance of a local chefExperience Florence through a food tour and cooking class. Start your day with a professional chef at the Central Market, where you will walk through the stalls, discover seasonal produce, cheeses, and cured meats, and try regional foods. After the market visit, go to the Towns of Italy Cooking School to master two of Italy’s most iconic dishes from scratch. You will learn to make Nonna’s lasagna, including rolling fresh pasta and layering it with slow-cooked Bolognese sauce and béchamel. You will also make tiramisu. At the end, you will eat the dishes you prepared in a convivial sit-down meal, paired with Tuscan wines and dessert wine. The chef will also share information about local wine.
