Visit to the top of Etna volcano with descent on foot to the starting pointThis volcanic hike takes you to the side of Etna that's less visited by tourists. The route includes an ascent by off-road vehicle to an elevation of 2825 meters - check out those views! From this point you'll ascend on foot through a lunar landscape of lava flows, volcanic ash and volcanic bombs, putting you right on the edge of Etna's great central crater. Once you've witnessed this magnificent force of nature, you'll descend on foot from an altitude of 3300 to an altitude of 1800 meters for about 7 kilometers. Pass through lunar plateaus and large gullies filled with soft volcanic sand, back to the starting point of the hike. The hike involves a total of 11 kilometers of walking (round trip) for 5/6 hours, and it's suitable for those used to walking regularly in the mountains. It is not recommended for those with vertigo, physical health or fatigue problems.Whats Included
