Palazzo Doebbing: Entry Ticket

Description

Discover a palace that once housed high-ranking cardinals and Pope Pius V, known for the Tridentine reform. The palace's significance continued into the early 20th century with Father Joseph Bernard Doebbing, who revitalized it and initiated key educational programs. The palace served as a bishop's residence until 1986 and then fell into disrepair. From 2010 to 2018, the Diocese of Civita Castellana, with funding from the Lazio Region, renovated the palace under architect Romano Adolini. The result is a blend of ancient appeal and modern design. The museum, spread over five levels, features various exhibition rooms that you can explore.
