Your journey begins with a drive along a narrow strip of sand (dune), flanked by untouched beachfront, lagoons, and lush coastal greenery, leading you to the Boca Paila lagoon, situated approximately 8 km within the biosphere. Here, you'll board a small boat to explore the Boca Paila bridge, a critical convergence point for numerous animals, offering up the opportunity to spot birds, crocodiles, and even manatees. Depending on the weather, you'll have the chance to snorkel in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, where vibrant corals and fish await your delight. If sea conditions are unsuitable for snorkeling, you'll visit a stunning open cenote instead.
