Visit the Majorelle Garden. This botanical garden includes fountains, ponds, bamboo groves, cacti, and a private museum collection. The space displays over 15 species of North African birds. Cobalt-blue buildings accentuate the garden, which was designed by the French artist Louis Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent. View the walls of Marrakesh, notable for their red stone structure and historical gates. These walls, exceeding 10 km in length, stand around 7.6 to 10.8 m high and were historically significant as urban enclosures. Ten gates provide entry, with Bab Khemis being among the prominent ones. Some gates have an architectural influence on other Moroccan cities.
