Ever wanted to explore the Amsterdam canals with friends? Now you can! Rent a boat and navigate the city's beautiful waterways—no boating license is needed. The boat fits up to 8 people and rentals are for a 2-hour trip. A few rules to remember: No music onboard, the captain must be sober, and give way to larger boats. The skipper must be at least 18 years old. Stick to the right side of the canal and avoid getting too close to houseboats. No taking photos inside houseboats. Leave confetti, rice, and fireworks at home. Keep the canals clean—no littering. Lastly, no excessive drinking on the boat.
